Partnership for New Generation of Vehicles (PNGV):

Assess the results of the fundamental research conducted under the sponsorship of the eight year, $1.79 billion Industry Partnership to Develop a New Generation of Vehicles (PNGV) program relative to developing technologies to improve automotive fuel economy. Provide recommendations of developed and investigated technologies that improve fuel efficiency that are suitable for near term integration and introduction to military ground vehicles.
